Doers Network: The Endorsement List

A Utah political network that says it identifies, endorses, and supports "principled candidates." Its own site lists 36 endorsements for 2026. Its own campaign-finance filings show a different list of who it has actually paid: 12 endorsed candidates with no payment found, and 13 recipients it never endorsed.

New here? The Doers Network is a Utah political organization that publicly endorses candidates it calls "Doers." Separately, its campaign committees have made direct dollar contributions to dozens of Utah candidates in 2026. This page lays both lists side by side, along with who actually runs the organization — including one board member whose spouse is a sitting state senator who received the network's money.

01Entity Structure

At least three separate legal entities carry the Doers Network name, and their paperwork doesn't line up neatly with the money.

  1. The original giving vehicle that made roughly $70,000 in 2026 candidate contributions (below) — the exact entity/EIN behind these earliest filings is still unconfirmed.
  2. Utah Doers Network, a 501(c)(4), incorporated July 16, 2026 — after most of that $70,000 had already gone out the door. Its incorporator, Matthew T. Sanderson, is a nationally known campaign-finance attorney (Caplin & Drysdale) who has also incorporated All In For Utah Foundation and All In For Utah PAC, entities already tied to a separate Cox-orbit money network documented elsewhere on this site.
  3. Utah Doers PAC, a registered Utah PAC created July 20, 2026, four days after the 501(c)(4). Its treasurer is a CPA whose phone number matches a separate "Doers Network Inc." filing that reported one independent expenditure — for Jake Hunsaker's campaign.

Which exact entity funded the earliest contributions is an open question, not a settled conclusion — presented here as a timeline gap in the paperwork, not an allegation about intent.

02Who Runs It

The Doers Network organizes its board by county. Utah County, Salt Lake County, and Davis County each have their own regional board; nearly every seat across all three is held by a current or former elected official, party officer, or professional in government relations/lobbying — not a cross-section of community volunteers.

The single most important fact on this page: the Utah County board's Chair is Nicki Brammer — spouse of Sen. Brady Brammer, who personally received $2,000 from the Doers Network on 4/27/26. This isn't an arms-length donor relationship; his own household sits on the organization's leadership.

How political is each board?

Members who hold or have held elected or party office, work in government or lobbying, or carry national political credentials. Utah and Davis counts are stated on this page; Salt Lake is counted from the backgrounds listed below.

04Who It Paid

Utah campaign-finance disclosures show direct 2026 contributions from Doers Network entities to a list that overlaps with, but differs from, the 36 public endorsements — $86,050 documented across the year in the table below, entirely a 2026 phenomenon (no 2025 activity exists).

Three findings, together, form a pattern: Senate President Stuart Adams ($500, filed as "J Adams," 7/1/26) and House Speaker Mike Schultz ($500, 9/2/26) both received Doers Network money — neither appears on the organization's public endorsement list, and neither is a contested-seat or open-seat race the way most listed endorsements are. Adams lost his own 2026 primary, but remains Senate President — still holding the gavel and the power that comes with it — until his term actually ends January 1; the payment went to a sitting, currently-powerful leader, not a departed one. On 9/9/26, Jordan Teuscher and Matt MacPherson each received a second payment of $1,500, this time filed from a new address — 421 Office Park Drive, Mountain Brook, AL 35223 — distinct from both the Wilmington, DE and Midvale, UT addresses used on every earlier filing.

"Katrina Hall" appears in the contribution filings; the endorsement page lists "Katy Hall" for HD 11. Whether these are the same person is not yet confirmed.

New (9/10/26), from state corporate records: JR Bird (HD-67 endorsee) has an entity missing from his own conflict-of-interest disclosure. Titan Investments, LLC was formed November 18, 2025 and remains active, with Bird as both registered agent and manager. It does not appear on his COI form's list of five disclosed entities, despite falling squarely within the "current or preceding year" disclosure window. What the entity does isn't stated in any public filing found so far.
New (9/10/26): Tamara Tran's own full disclosures show something bigger than the Doers Network gift itself. All In For Utah PAC — a separate political committee — supplied $12,037.22 to her campaign, more than her Doers Network total. Corrected 9/23/26: all three All In For Utah entries are marked in-kind (advertising), not cash; the Doers Network's $10,600 is her largest cash gift from any PAC. Both PACs' Utah filings for Tran use the exact same registered-agent suite address: 6905 S 1300 E #224. Two ostensibly separate political money vehicles, operating out of the same suite, both supporting the same Senate candidate. Full case file: Case 21, SD-6.

05Endorsed vs. Funded

Overlaying both lists shows they aren't the same list. The clearest examples are Utah's two legislative leaders: Senate President Stuart Adams and House Speaker Mike Schultz both received Doers Network money in 2026, and neither appears on the organization's own public endorsement page. Several other sitting legislators — Melissa Garff Ballard, Steven Eliason, Jason Thompson, and Daniel McCay among them — are in the same position. Conversely, several endorsed candidates in county-level races (Salt Lake County Council, Salt Lake County Sheriff, Davis County Clerk, and others) have no matching contribution yet found in this year's disclosures. Money and formal endorsement, in other words, are two separate signals from the same organization, not two views of the same list.

06Networks

The Doers Network doesn't operate alone. Digging into individual candidates' own disclosures surfaces the same names, addresses, and vendors reaching into other, ostensibly separate parts of Utah's political-money apparatus.

Solid arrows: money in filed reports. Dashed lines: household ties and endorsements. Shared vendors are described below.

Shared incorporator and address

Matthew T. Sanderson, a Washington DC campaign-finance attorney, incorporated both Utah Doers Network and All In For Utah Foundation/PAC — a separate entity already tied to a Cox-orbit money network documented elsewhere. On Tamara Tran's own disclosures, All In For Utah PAC and Doers Network file from the exact same suite address, 6905 S 1300 E #224. Two "separate" political committees, one office.

Board members giving personally, beyond the PAC's own checks

Two separate Salt Lake County board members, each funding two separate candidates individually — on top of whatever the Doers Network PAC itself gave.

Candidate-to-candidate money

Mike Bird's own disclosures show small contributions from Luke Searle (HD-59, CASE 11) and Casey Saxton (a Doers-endorsed HD-37 candidate) — the endorsed roster isn't just receiving from the same PAC, some of them are funding each other directly.

Shared vendors

Tactical Campaigns appears in both Tamara Tran's and Stephanie Gricius's expenditures. Majority 51 shows up as a vendor paid by both Tran's and Erik Craythorne's (CASE 13) campaigns. Tran's campaign also paid $12,000 to a vendor called "Gathering" — not yet confirmed as the same Gathering Inc. tied to the 2025 signature-forgery prosecutions documented elsewhere on this site, but the name match is worth tracking.

A succession pipeline

Davis County board member Steve Hiatt is the former Kaysville Mayor who preceded Tamara Tran in that office — she's now the Doers-backed candidate for the state Senate seat Jerry Stevenson is vacating. Separately, Salt Lake County Council Chair Aimee Winder Newton gave Mike Bird $6,000 personally, reading as a backing-the-successor relationship rather than a contested primary.
